Ei Shishou

A sweet and trusting girl who just wants to do good.

She has a hard time saying no, and is worried about disappointing those in her life.

Despite everything, she remains cheerful.

A young-looking girl from the Edo era.

She was born sometime around the extremely early 1800s, in a small village.

She loved the people around her -- and humanity in general, very much. She wanted to make everyone around her proud, to never make them even the slightest bit sad or disappointed.

However, a famine had come to her village, lasting a few years.

She gave most of what she had to others, wanting to see them flourish, thinking she could make it through like that.

Her growth got delayed.

At the age of 14, she had caught a minor sickness, and wound up perishing to it before she could see the end of the famine, due to the state of her body.

Around 200 years later, her corpse reawoke.

After wandering an extreme distance, she bumped into Aibreann. Seeing Ei as nothing but a weapon -- a means to an end, she took her in.

Her love for humanity never faded.

Despite hating what shes now made to do, she doesnt object, not wanting to disappoint the human shes closest to.

She talks strangely, using her name instead of words like "I" or "Me"

Due to her stature and general way she presents herself, shes often assumed to be around 10 -- younger than she actually is
